Pharmacy affiliates work in close conjunction with the pharmaceutical companies, doctors and the general public and so must have an acute ability to successfully communicate with people, no matter their background.

They need to know about well-established medicines, of which there are a great deal, and they also need to know about the current research that is producing new drugs. Pharmacy affiliates are a bit like a middleman and need to be great communicators.
Pharmacy affiliates need to undergo a lengthy process of study and learning to get into that line of business, but once that have successfully navigated through that section of study they will be highly paid as it is a job that is in very high demand.
